Trocoh Waterfall

Trocoh waterfall is located in Tawangsari Village, Wonoboyosubdistrict, Temanggung Regency, Central Java, Indonesian. This beautiful waterfall has 100 km distance from Yogyakarta City and 38 km from Temanggung city. You must walk follow the footstep and hike a hill to arrive the waterfall. Tired, but that is correspond with the view that you will see. So beautiful.

Trocoh waterfall has other name, that is Surodipowaterfall.According to the story from people arroundthe waterfall,Surodipo is one of commander in Diponegoro wars. That’s war happened in 1825 until 1830. After war, Surodipo has gone to some village near Trocoh waterfall. He live in there with his army and he die in there.

Trocoh waterfall has 120 m high, from  summit to base. This waterfall also have a fresh and clean water. Trocoh is a word in Javanese language, the meaning is always take water. However in dry season water in this waterfall never lessened.
